another entry a day late

Need to think back to: Friday morning. Well I got dressed in business clothes and took the bus and Luas to the office. There we got to know the computer system and read some case files. Asylum law is filled with interesting stories--but apparently lots of liars too. We basically just got our assignments for next week, debriefed a little, and read case files. Got back and had some lunch--then class which was a struggle of course. Got ready and headed out for Nichole's 23rd birthday. The entire apartment and Melissa headed to the Temple Bar area. Apparently we ate at the most expensive pub in Dublin--it was pricey.

Decided to try some Irish food again. Went for the Coddle: not exactly sure what is in it--but suasage, massive carrots, potatoes, and bacon wrapped something. Food is expensive, so I try to stay with the cheapest things on the menu for the most part.

Yes I look like the drunk, but I actually wasn't even drinking that. It was a posed photo.

Nichole's yummy birthday cake and rum flavored ice cream.

3 Irish guys and 1 Irish guy's sister plus Gabby singing songs at the pub. They were old. It was a little creepy, but still pretty nice. We making jokes about the half pint drinkers being prengant and the full pint drinkers having twins--we still don't get it. I took my first shot of Jameson yay! It burned a little. There were multiple singings of happy birthday to Nichole. The live band was pretty good. When we got outside an Irishman took our picture and threatened to run away with my camera. I told him I would chase him, but he never ran away so my camera stayed safe.

Then we separated paths basically. We walked down to Turk's Head. Nichole wanted to go home so Natalie and Melissa went with her and Jenn went to go pick up her boyfriend from the airport. Caitlin, Gabby and I stayed. Drank at the bar with a bunch of people from the program. And then headed down to the dance floor.

Scott is like the only other person who takes pictures. The dance floor was cool. Some of the guys in the program just stood, some danced, others did both. There was a creeper French guy who totally did not get the picture. There was a girl making out and dancing with a guy and the French guy is still trying to pull her off of him to dance with him. Gross. I had a really good time though dancing--especially to the few songs we knew. Had some good laughs watching drunk people. I had a guy in the program Justin make sure the French guy didn't bother me haha. I mean I showed him the ring and he still didn't back off so he was like--Back Off! Still fail, but funny. Basically a good night.

Did lots today, but will post it up tonight! Nap now!
