my dorms in the morning at like 10 am. when i went on a campus tour. this morning apt 8 learned that hair dryers can set off the fire alarm, but it didn't last that long. i got to see that our laundry is really far from our dorms, the store is expensive, and other than that is like your average college campus.
Then I went to class. I got my internship packet which showed how i get to my internship. i need to take the no 10 bus and then the Luas. then I had competition law which went by really fast and seems like it should be pretty straight forward. Then i had a break till 2, and there was free lunch so i ate that. then i went back to the room for a bit to get my stuff for the walking tour. then short orientation.
Walking tour!
this is at dublin castle. it is justice, but it is interesting because she doesn't have a blind fold on--so justice in ireland is not blind. she isn't facing the people so she turns her back on the people. and the scales have a hole in them. odd justice.
cool doors. painted so the drunk husbands go home to their right home based on paint color.
viking home plan that was underneath dublin.
a street in dublin
place we went to dinner.
too many cameras were pointed at us, there is better one somewhere on facebook.
my pizza bread. it was uber tasty
dinner table! meet: cate, natalie, nichole, jenn, melissa, maureen
delicious white chocolate mocha. i dont know what my foam art was--but there was a heart and leaf that i didn't get photos of
Grafton street was really nice. and we managed to get some student bus tickets which will great to have for the 4 weeks..expensive but good to have.
there was a lot more to the walking tour, but didn't really want to post too many historic photos. our guide was spanish which was interesting--she was really enthusiastic.
tomorrow is real school life and stuff
