struggles

Day 3 here in Ireland. I woke up early and did some reading. Then I headed down to meet up with Cate and Maureen to head downtown to get out Student Travel Cards. Major picture taking fail. The guy working there just told me to sit down on the chair. He didn't tell me he was taking the picture. And it was dark in the building at Trinity College so my picture just looks like a poor mug shot...so gross. Then we walked across the river to the O'Connell street area. I saw where the Luas is located so that I could get to my internship. Got my expensive-ass 30 day Bus and Luas pass. Then walked to Dublin Castle to see where her internship is located. Then we went to Stephen's Green Shopping Center to go to Dunne's. I got a pillow, pillow case, and towel. Hopefully I will sleep a little better now. I guess we will see soon. Jumped on the bus and headed back.

Read and then talked to Jerrod. Then went to class. I was pretty tired in class. But made it through. Then my apartment minus Nichole and Natalie headed down to the 46a to go to Stillorgan to go grocery shopping. We got some essentials and then headed to Tesco to get some food. This is where I failed. Apparently I am not great at taking public transportation and shopping. Basically I miss my car. AND you have to pay like 30 something cents for a bag in order to carry your groceries. Did not know that. and bought way too much. Had to have help and it was majorly difficult to do. Bags broke, started sweating from the long ass walk. so freaking frustrating. But I learned

Went to dinner at Keily's in Donnybrooke which is close to here. It was pricey and I was still frustrated so I wasn't really a happy camper. but I had some mushroom soup that was tasty.

It is nice to talk to law students and not talk about law school some of the time. i think it only works because we don't know each other and all come from different places otherwise law always comes up when we get together. it even happens with people you dont know too. strange.

Bus back and then exhausted so everyone went to sleep.
